Open Access Policy
EBCAS operates as a fully open access journal. All published case studies are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication without any subscription or access fees for readers' institutions or libraries.
The journal is committed to the principle that free access to scholarly work supports the global exchange of knowledge, enhances teaching and learning and increases the visibility and impact of published case studies. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to the full texts of published articles for lawful and non-commercial purposes without prior permission from the publisher or the authors, provided that proper attribution is given.
Authors retain the copyright to their published case studies. By submitting and publishing in the journal, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce, distribute and disseminate the work in all formats and media. This arrangement ensures that authors maintain ownership of their intellectual work while allowing the journal to archive and promote the publication effectively.
All articles are published under a Creative Commons licence that allows use, sharing and redistribution with appropriate citation of the original work. Any reuse must acknowledge the author and the journal as the original source and must not misrepresent the content or its academic context.
The journal does not impose subscription fees on readers. Any article processing charges, if applicable, will be clearly stated on the journal website prior to submission to ensure transparency. The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of peer review, editorial independence and publication ethics regardless of the open access model.
Through this open access policy, EBCAS aims to support inclusive knowledge dissemination and to contribute meaningfully to economics and business education research and practice worldwide.
